Wearing Thin
I'm starting to lose the momentum I had at the beginning of the semester--and I can easily blame this on the nine midterms and asswads of labs and assignments that pummelled me to the ground (not to mention the stress of deciding to change degree programs). I still have some labs and assignments to do, but I'm slow at getting back up; I have no desire to do any work at this point.
I took Monday off because I just needed to sleep. It was quite nice sleeping in until 1pm with Scott. Too bad this can't be done all the frickin' time. Oh well--c'est la vie, right? Right? Thought so. Now if I can work up the strength to keep on truckin', as it were, and finish up three assignments, one lab and two design projects with enough energy to start studying for finals.
In other news, I've e-mailed a bunch of people asking for their advice: should I switch into Engineering Physics or Honours Physics. Hopefully I get a lot of responses...or else.

The above comment was so out of nowhere. And random. Etc. What a shameless plug.
Dammit, am I mean? HAH.
Dood I think I'm getting a headache from lack of sleep. Is this possible?
Nightridehome - yes, yes I do!
V - I always feel crappy and weird due to the lack of sleep--I get the headaches et al.
I'd avoid physics like the plague if I were you...
Physics theory is really cool - but actually getting a physics degree is something completely different - you don't study any of the neat theories or philosophical implications of physics, you study really, really, excruciating stuff.
On my PHYS 336 midterm there were 3 questions. 34% of the class got 0 on the third question. That's how bad physics is in reality.
Whenever I burn out or lose momentum (like now) I think of Bjork singing to me, "I love you I love you I love you I love you etc" It's soothing and reassuring that no matter how poorly I do in school, she'll always love me. But I don't know what song that's from so I can't listen to it now.
I'm totally unaware of those Bjork lyrics...there's Pagan Poetry where the lyrics are "I love him, I love him, etc".
How do you know a degree in physics will be something completely different? I'd be going to grad school for physics, so I would be learning the cool theories and philosophical implications etc.
